Under 11 Cheshire League Champions 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 & 2009 & Womens Cheshire League Champions 2006

It is with deep regret that I have to advise that Mrs Britton died before Christmas. For most if not all our members Mrs Britton will have been the first face they saw when they joined the club and as such will have been known to hundreds of members and past members. She will be greatly missed.

The Greater Manchester Athletic Association have presented Sarah Cooper with an award. The GMAA have a reserve fund in memory of Renee Scott who was a tireless worker for athletics in our area. Two athletes, one male and one female, who have performed well at the Cross Country Championships or the Track and Field Championships are granted an award from the reserve fund. Sarah has been selected to receive the award for her performance at the Track and Field Championships and has been presented with a cheque for £100.

As you will have noticed all results from the Salford Mets Cross Country Races are now on the web site. The Salford Schools page also includes a link to the results from the first three races in the Salford Primary Schools Cross Country races.
